But there are other forces at work, people who will stop at nothing to use Ruby in their fight against the government. Before the end, Ruby will be faced with a terrible choice, one that may mean giving up her only chance at a life worth living.

This book looks and sounds amazing.  I've even heard there's going to be a movie for it.  I like how the cover is pretty simple, and I like the barbed wire on the edges.  It's always nice to see a non girl-in-dress cover.

Alexandra Bracken is an AWESOME writer, who wrote the fantastic Brightly Woven (which is also a standalone!).  December 18th is gonna be a long wait.
